A Unique way to collect Guests’ well-wishes
Artist’s Guest Book
A guest book is a wonderful way to capture and record well-wishes and words of wisdom from your loved ones, celebrating your marriage and sharing their love with you at the start of this new chapter of your life together. Unfortunately, traditional guest books can be under-used, as guests either don’t realise, are too busy or too shy to leave their notes.
The Artist’s Guest Book combines beautiful, spontaneous paintings with space for your guests messages. The added excitement of leafing through a book of amazing artwork, and recognizing people and shared moments from the day, encourages guests to leave their own heartfelt message.
I can also bring an instant camera, giving your guests a chance to capture a selfie. Spontaneous photos are a fun, interactive way for your guests to share their love.
The Artist’s Guest Book is ideal for couples who want a beautiful, unique way to capture their guests’ heartfelt messages.
How it Works
I’ll arrive in plenty of time before the wedding starts, and then draw until the guests start to arrive. During the “quiet” times before the ceremony, and before and after dinner, I’ll mingle and chat with your guests, giving them a chance to leaf through the paintings completed so far, and to leave their own handwritten messages.
My standard fee is £1195 for a full day of wedding art (+£50 if including instant cameras for guests selfies). This covers travel to destinations in West Scotland within 3 hours of my studio in central Kintyre. Other locations may be available but an additional travel fee will apply - please get in touch to discuss your requirements. This covers a full day of painting, usually about 8-10 hours, depending on the timings and location of your wedding, and about 10-20 paintings - leaving space for your guests’ messages. I will then take your book back to my studio to scan and prepare your digital copies before sending your book by Special Delivery.
