Hello everyone!

I’m Adam, workshop leader, artist, and all-around drawing nut!

I have been working in video games for 8 years now, first as an Animator, before moving into Storyboarding (which is great because it’s a lot like drawing comics!) working on games like The Simpsons, Alien vs Predator and most recently a new Facebook game called Evil Genius.  Also, I am hard at work right now on a bunch of really exciting comics for the new children’s comic magazine called The Phoenix, due out in early 2012.  You can get a sneak peek at some of my stuff here!  As if that wasn’t enough (it’s never enough..) I also spend all my free time drawing and painting; people, street scenes and, most especially, comics!

Art has made such a huge difference in my life, so I’m really passionate about sharing the knowledge I’ve acquired over the years and encouraging others on their own artistic journeys.  I’ve done really successful kids’ comics workshops for the Oxford University Museums, Oxford University Outreach, Stoke Newington Literary Festival, Christ Church Cathedral School, St Christopher’s Primary School, Iffley Mead School, Cardiff Central Library, the Oxford Literary Festival, the Cartoon Museum in London and others; as well as teaching life drawing for adults at the Jam Factory in Oxford for almost 5 years.

I’d love to explore the wonderful world of comics with you.  Please get in touch or drop by one of the workshops.  I hope to see you soon!
